JUST YELL:
THE PHYSICAL EMBODIMENT OF LANGUAGE
JUST YELL organized a self defense workshop held at the POETRY FOUNDATION in Chicago as part of the FROM WITHIN exhibition. This workshop for Chicago youth taught techniques and strategies for physical self defense and discussed the rights, rules, and needs for self defense. In between the physical exchanges and explorations, youth focused on new writing generated from the physicality and conversations.
